Onye Linus Obasi-Chairman
A Chartered Banker who started his career with Union Bank Plc in 1965 and rose to the position of Deputy General Manager, Up Country Operations, in 1999 before retiring in 2001. He has attended the Central Bank of Nigeria certification program for non-executive directors.
Arinze Agube Chichi-MD/CEO
Mrs. Arinze-Agube, Chichi is a holder of Higher National Diploma in Banking & Finance and a Master of Business Administration in Banking. She worked 11 years at Zenith Bank Plc, and resigned in 2011 as Senior Assistant Manager. She is a Chartered Banker, a Chartered Finance Controller, a member of the audit committee of the National Association of Microfinance Banks and the Ist Vice-Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter. She is a Certified Microfinance Bank Practitioner and the MD/CEO of Fame Microfinance Bank Limited since inception in 2011.
Okpara Okechukwu-Director
Mr Okpara Okechukwu holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy, a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management. He started his career with Equity Bank in 1997 and worked there for 5 years before moving to Fidelity Bank in 2001. He rose to the position of Regional Manager before retiring in 2017. He is a chartered member of the Institute of Finance and Control.
Agube Arinze-Director
He is a Phd holder in Drug Design and Bioinformatics. He started his career with May and Baker Plc in 1993 as a medical representative and rose to the position of Accounts Manager in 2000. He left the company in 2001 and worked for Aventis Pasteur and Globacom before starting his own company, Biologics Ventures, in 2003. He has attended the CBN certification program for non-executive directors.
Okorie Thompson-Director
He worked as branch manager, Nifex group of companies, Aba from 1999 to 2007. He is currently the Executive Director of Hyondae Digital Image Industries, Aba.
Okorocha Samuel Ikwuakolam-Director
Mr. Samuel Ikwuakolam Okorocha has a Higher National Diploma in Banking & Finance, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. He started his banking career with Spring Bank, Nnewi (Citizens Bank) and rose to the position of the Head of Operations in 2001. He is currently the Managing Director of Akolam Ventures , Aba, Abia State. Mr. Okorocha has attended the CBN certification program for non- executive directors.
Nwauri Christopher-Head of Operations
He started his banking career with Zenith Bank Plc, Aba in 1999 as a contract staff. During the period, he worked in cash & teller unit and funds transfer unit as the clearing representative. In 2006, he joined FCMB Aba as an Assistant Officer II. He worked as a customer service officer, cash officer and acting head of operations. He has attended several courses in money laundering and drug control, fraud detection and control and customer handling. He has BSc in Banking & Finance from Abia State Universtity, Uturu and joined the bank in July, 2014. He has worked in the marketing unit of the bank for years, until 2021 when he was moved back to operations unit as the head of operations. He is a Microfinance Chartered Practitioner He is married with three children.
Emmanuel Akpan-Head, IT
Mr. Akpan Emmanuel holds a B.Tech in Mathematics and Computer Science from Federal University of Technology Owerri, and OND in Electrical Electronics from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri . He has attended various trainings and seminars like the Information Technology Software Security Development Workshop organized by ZENITH BANK PLC in 2005, Product Development Training by AXAMANSARD Insurance Plc in 2010, Cyber Security and Fraud Detection and Prevention for commercial banks in 2015. He joined FAME Microfinance Bank Ltd in January 13, 2020 as the Head of Information and Technology.
Ajuka Vincent-Head, Internal Control and Risk Management
He is a holder of Higher National Diploma in Applied Chemistry and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. He is a Certified Microfinance Practitioner and has over 14 years experience in the microfinance banking sector.
Uka Ochea Uka-Head, Credit and Marketing
Mr. Uka Ochea Uka holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State. He went further to Imo State University where he obtained a PGD and MBA in Marketing. He has worked in several companies, including sales and hospitality outlets. He has also worked in the funds transfer and cash and teller units of Zenith bank plc. He left Zenith Bank for Ecobank, where he worked as both a Funds Transfer officer and a cash officer. He also worked as a sales accounts manager and a financial analyst in corner stone Insurance Plc. Mr. Uka is target and achievement oriented. He is married with four children.
